Winter fun in the Zillertal Valley
When the fine powder snow lies over the mountain slopes of the Zillertal Alps, then it is time for untroubled winter sports. There are two ski areas around Fügen that make a winter holiday a pure experience. By the way, the way there is easily accessible by shuttle bus.
Experience winter from its most beautiful side
The cleared winter hiking trails unfold their very own romantic atmosphere in the snow-covered alpine nature. There are also day trips to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds or to Innsbruck, for example.
Fun on the slopes in the ski areas
Numerous kilometres of easy and medium pistes are waiting to be explored on the Spieljoch adventure mountain - the skiing area for families. The manageable number of runs and the practice lifts make the area particularly attractive for beginners and families. One of the highlights is the 7-kilometre-long valley descent, one of the longest in the Zillertal - which passes directly behind our house.
With 64 pistes and 36 lifts, the Hochfügen/Hochzillertal ski area is one of the larger ski areas in the country. The winter sports enthusiast will find everything his heart desires here: different levels of difficulty, countless kilometres of pistes for snowboarders and freeriders, cross-country ski runs, après-ski bars and cosy guesthouses.
